From a young age, my life has been shaped by the love for music. I started my musical journey at the age of 6, learning Piano, Guitar and Keyboard under the guidance of Shri Anuprit Khandekar and vocal training with Shri Aniket Khandekar, two highly respected maestros in the world of music. Training with the Khandekars was a privilege that laid a strong foundation for my musical growth and sparked my passion for teaching
By age 13, I had already begun teaching music, sharing my passion and knowledge with others. Over the years, this passion grew into a full-fledged career, allowing me to mentor over 3,000 students worldwide across India, London, Dubai, USA, Canada, and Australia. For the past 13 years, I successfully ran my own music school in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, nurturing aspiring musicians across various disciplines.
I earned my Sangeet Visharad (Graduation in Music) under the esteemed guidance of Shri Aniket Khandekar from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, followed by a Master’s degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal from Gujarat University. Additionally, I have cleared Trinity College London's (UK) music exams in Keyboard, Piano, and Western Vocal and have also trained in Piano, having cleared exams from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, UK.
As a multi-instrumentalist, I am proficient in 9 different instruments, including Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Harmonium, Cajon, Octapad, Melodica, Violin, and Vibraphone. With 500+ performances across India, my expertise covers a wide range of musical genres, including Indian classical, Western classical, Bollywood, and contemporary music. This diverse experience allows me to offer a well-rounded and enriching learning experience for my students.
Now residing in Canada for the past 3 years, I am excited to bring my passion for music education to Brampton and beyond. I teach students of all ages—children (5+), teens, adults, and seniors, ensuring that learning is tailored to each individual’s musical aspirations.
I am affiliated with Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, where I am actively involved in conducting Indian classical exams and teaching Raagas. I offer a deep dive into Indian classical music, focusing on emotional depth, improvisation, and the traditional techniques inherent to the genre.
Both Western and Indian vocal techniques are essential for a well-rounded musical journey, and I teach both styles to give students a comprehensive understanding of vocal development. Whether you're interested in mastering the rich, classical structures of Indian music or the structured, technique-based approach of Western music, I ensure that you receive the best of both worlds.
In addition to Indian classical music, I also teach Bollywood music and guide students on how to sing along with karaoke tracks, helping them develop both vocal technique and performance skills. I design customized lessons based on each student's musical preferences and learning style, ensuring a fun, engaging, and effective learning experience.
Music has been my life’s work, and I am dedicated to continuing this journey, teaching students of all ages and helping them reach their full potential.
